We believe that all breeding dogs should first and foremost experience the love that comes from being apart of a family. All Callithorpe dogs are considered apart of our family, but to ensure each and every dog gets the love and affection they deserve we utilise Guardian Homes.
A Guardian Home is vetted by the Callithorpe team and then receives a Callithorpe dog on the condition that the animal is kept healthy, happy and will be loved just as much as we love them.
On successful mating, the female’s are returned to a Callithorpe breeder 1 week prior to the litter birth date and remains for the 6-8 weeks the female is required to stay with the new puppies before being returned to her family.
An added bonus to Guardian Homes is that once the dog is retired from breeding they will remain with their Guardian (now owner). This is our favourite part of having our animals living with a Guardian, as they will remain with the same loving family for their whole life.
What is a Guardian Home?
Yes, all of the dogs registered to Callithorpe Cavaliers are DNA tested (through Orivet), microchipped and vaccinated. They also receive regular veterinary check ups, and will not be bred if they are in less than pristine condition.

How can I pick-up my new puppy?
There are a few ways you can pick-up your new puppy. The best way is in person.
However, if you are located inter-state we can assist in arranging transport at your expense. We obtain quotes from several different pet transport companies to find you the best price, and your new puppy the safest and comfiest ride possible.
How can I secure a puppy?
To secure a puppy you can either make the full payment for your new family member or you can put down a deposit.
The deposit is 10% of the amount to be paid. This deposit is non-refundable after 48hrs.
Without either the full payment or a deposit a puppy, unfortunately, cannot be considered sold.
The preferable form of payment is an online bank transfer (including PayID).
Cash payments are acceptable, but only when the pick up of the puppy occurs in person. If cash is the desired method of purchase, it needs to be noted that the 10% deposit still must be made via bank transfer.
